Control4, which is a home automation system based locally in Salt Lake City is now currently preparing the papers for a recent deal with home builder, Holmes Homes and integrator Safe & Sound Systems. The new collaboration between companies will bring forth a new version of the Control4 unit to households and small businesses.
The new standard package will not include an IP based security system, with a controller, lighting and thermostat controls. Consumers can also expect to have Zigbee door locks and a whole range of other additional features built into the system. For individuals interested in security, home automation systems such as the Control4 are the best choice. It is important to recognize however that with this system, it comes with a hefty price starting from $130,000.
